What in the world? A
cat? Let me
start out...Jay and I are dog people. We
love our dogs, we had absolutely NO
INTENTION of getting a cat. But like all
things in life sometimes God has other
intentions & some things are just meant to
be. Dexter
joined our family on May 15, 2008 when we
found the poor guy along side a busy
highway. At that time we didn't even know
what a Ragdoll was but his stunning blue
eyes told us he was something special. He
was barely 7 pounds and was about 9 months
old. Half starved and full of fleas this
young man maintained his enduring attitude
despite all that happened to him. He
immediately fit into the household routine
and quickly gained weight. As the months
passed our ragged looking boy doubled his
weight and grew into a stunning young man
with the best pup cat attitude ever.
Dexter is a cherished
member of our family. He and the dogs play
all the time and he is ever so patient with
baby Josh. We will never know how or why
Dexter ended up on the side of the road. But
we shall ever be thankful he came to join
our family.
