Reach and Drive on every stride what proper movement looks like.

We are proud to be introducing our lovely young lady who will steal your heart. Mai Tye is our first home bred girl and we are thrilled to have her as a show & performance dog. She is a spirited girl with an incredible out-going “anything you do I can do better” attitude. She loves new adventures and takes everything in stride. Mai Tye's zest for life and spunky attitude comes shining through every time.

Mai Tye has been racking up the titles the past three years. This girl is proving to be a natural at everything she tries. Like her mom she has the can do attitude but kicked up a few notches. She is commonly referred to as "a Paige on steroids". Mai Tye displays speed in the field and on the agility course. She passed 2 TD tests in 2007 & the TDX in 2008 at neck breaking speeds. In 2009 she passed the VST and became the first Champion Tracking bitch in breed history. By the age of 3 years Mai Tye had already earned an astounding 19 AKC titles. The amazing thing is this girl is just getting started in her obedience career!

Although not titled in hunting yet, Tye has been in training since 8 weeks of age and has been working diligently in the field. We decided to train her through the Master Hunt level prior to entering her in any tests. That way we hope to avoid having bad habits develop that would have to be "fixed" later on. Mai Tye is steady to wing and shot & we are very excited about the natural talent she displays. In the fall of 2009 we gave the fields a whirl and Tye ended the season with 3 senior hunt legs. As she skipped the junior level she needs just 2 more legs to complete this title. She did earn the WDX title and we plan on finishing her SH title next fall.

Mai Tye is trained owner trained for all her performance venues. I handle Mai Tye in all venues with the exception of agility. Although I do love to handle Mai Tye in agility the economy makes it hard to justify gas/hotel costs for one dog. So special thanks goes to my friend Ellen for handling Mai Tye to her agility titles and handling her at the trials. Mai Tye's wiliness to work for others just exemplifies her extraordinary disposition.

Mai Tye finished her Championship with ease. Shown at a total of 9 times where she acquired 3 majors <2 at supported entries> and finished with Best of Opposite over bitch specials and was almost put up over the number 1 dog in the country! Many thanks to the judges that have recognized Mai Tye's wonderful breed type. Mai Tye will be shown sparingly as we prefer to be out doing performance rather than playing in the show ring.

01-24-09: Mai Tye is off to a great start this year. She earned her first title of the year which is the Novice Agility Fast title. Tye earned this title with 3 first places handled by Ellen Hizer. Thank you to Ellen for your expertise in handling Tye.

03-13-09 Not even a month has gone by and she has another Agility title (OA) with 3 First places.

03-27-09 And here we are with her 3rd title of the year as she adds the Rally Novice to her list of accomplishments!

05-01-09 Title number 4 and its the Agility excellent title. With 3 first placements!

05-31-09 Title number 5 Rally Advance. With 3 first placements!

10-03-09 Mai Tye continues to train in performance and so far she has been doing an outstanding job. Her first two times in the obedience ring Mai Tye walked away with a 191 & a 196 in the Novice B class. This was her first time in the obedience ring and I was over the moon with her performances! Tye also has earned her 1st SH leg - Watch for this multi-talented girl in both the field and she performance ring as there is still a lot of things we have yet to accomplish.

11-22-09 Mai Tye tracks her way into the history books by becoming the FIRST Field Spaniel bitch to earn both the Variable Surface Tracking Title (VST) & the Champion Tracker Title (CT). She did her track in about 20 mins and was the only dog to pass the 8 dog test that day! We are so proud of our muskrat!

12-05-09 WOW is all we can say as Tye was simply amazing this weekend. She took a 1st place in her Rally Excellent class and then she took 3rd in a class of 20 for her last CD leg. With the completion of her CD Tye also acquired the VCD1 title- So she earned a  total of 3 titles in one weekend! Simply awesome!
