Emmitt
was a special puppy from the start. He was the last
puppy born and his birth took place outside in the
middle of a Michigan winter. Well the surprises
didn't stop there as my little liver boy slowly
decided he wanted to have tan markings! As Emmitt
grew so did his personality. He was graded as the
most out-going pup in the litter and was Kristy's
pick boy to send out to Lisa in Rhode Island.
He continues to maintain his out-going,
never met a stranger attitude.
Emmitt and his Mom Lisa have been working
hard at both conformation and obedience training
since Emmitt was a pup.
Emmitt has been showing since he was 6 months old
and like all pups he just needed time to grow up. In
the spring of 2008 at just over a 1year old Emmitt
started to come into his own. In 3 short months
Emmitt was award 3 majors and finished his
Championship with ease. We are
very proud of Emmitt and his owner-handler Lisa, who
has shown Emmitt to all his wins. We look forward to
seeing what other great accomplishments this team
will surely have in years to come.
Emmitt still makes it out to the show ring every now
and than. As he still needs a wee bit more time to
grow up Emmitt is shown selectively as special.
However he is concentrating and working hard on his
new sport. Agility! Emmitt and Lisa have recently
started training in agility and Emmitt is picking up
on the training rather quickly. Lisa reports that
Emmitt is a natural on agility course and she is
looking forward to competing with him in the future.
Many
Thanks to Lisa for working and training Emmitt and
making sure he reaches his full potential!
